I would have thought the title would have included something about Trump storing files on his desktop...

There was literally one numbered SW film left, so I felt it best to finish out that theme.

"Trump Signs Law Making Cruelty To Animals A Federal Crime"

https://www.npr.org/2019/11/25/7828...

"Cruelty to animals is now a federal crime under a new law signed by President Trump Monday.

The Preventing Animal Cruelty and Torture Act (PACT) is a bi-partisan initiative that bans the intentional crushing, burning, drowning, suffocating, impalement or other serious harm to "living non-human mammals, birds, reptiles, or amphibians."

The law also bans "animal crush videos" meaning any photograph, motion-picture film, video or digital recording or electronic image that depicts animal cruelty.

The penalty for violating the law can include a fine, a prison term of up to seven years, or both."

Is this a thing? I’ve never heard of it. Sounds horrible. Who gets off on watching crap like that?

Will we be hearing any praise for Trump on this from the left? I doubt it.

Sounds like a Seuss character.

The only reason the angry cheeto signed it was because he knows what a dog is and thinks they're cute but he definitely doesn't want to adopt one, no thank you very much.

Would you want him to adopt a dog?

I wouldn't want him to adopt anything except maybe the Paris Climate Accord.

OK- - sounded like you were complaining that he didn't want to adopt a dog...

I was more going on the theme that babyhands can't hold any train of thought more than a couple days and he still kinda remembers that there was a dog involved in something he took credit for last week so he was all "oh! a dog bill. I'll sign that."

Trump comes through in getting coin minted to celebrate 100th anniversary of the women's right to vote!

https://theweek.com/speedreads/8809...

He wonders why it took so long for this to happen...

Democrats have failed to celebrate this going all the way back to JFK. And even further back. Disgraceful!

Seriously? He had nothing to do with this except writing his name on the line. The thing was so bipartisan, uncontroversial, and overwhelmingly supported that it literally passed the senate by *unanimous consent*. This is like asking for him to get credit for naming a post office or something.

Srsly.

Wut bravery.

I guess when you basically have no net positive legislative accomplishments to speak of despite holding control of both houses of congress and the executive branch for two full years, you grasp for any credit you can.

considering how awful and terrible animal abuse and cruelty are, why wasn't this a law a long time ago? what was magically stopping both parties from declaring animal abuse a federal crime?
