someone at work was saying that the disease can kill unexpectedly and not only people who are already sick or elderly. i hadn't heard that. i really hope they don't cancel flights within the next week. that'd be a big letdown.

stimulus package if the world dies though, right? so we'll all be subsidized. bernie would have wanted it this way.

That was still to protect him, though, I think. It was in case you had some illness that might harm him when he was weakened with pneumonia.

I have a stash of toilet paper- - is it bad if I start selling it for $10/roll?

I've definitely read reports of young health professionals dying but I don't know if that's because they're working such long hours their immune systems suffer? Most people under a certain age are only finding it fatal if they have other conditions. But I'm not sure if the need for hospitalisation treatment is wider than just those with other conditions.

Does anyone know anything about what other conditions are? I keep see health officials talk about pre-existing conditions and comorbidities, but they never elaborate beyond that.

I have a few lung issues, so I’m assuming I’m screwed. It’d be nice to know more, though.

I know you are joking but they are cracking down on price gaugers. Amazon wants you to report them, eBay is kicking them off. And some are getting fined in their communities because it is illegal.

Touching surface on a plane... Planes are small narrow confined spaces and always slightly unstable in motion. People hold onto things a lot going up and down the isles getting into their cramped seats, pulling down those plastic tables, squeezing into the tiny toilets. If as has been said, the virus can be passing from person to person via a hard surface during a period of up to 72 hours after contamination, I'd be avoiding aircraft fuselages. Rather than investing in masks, people might consider plastic gloves if the infection rate becomes increasingly higher.

Yes. I saw a story about the air on planes which is what I was initially concerned about. But apparantly, planes have filtration systems which make the air in the cabin as clean or even cleaner than the air outside a plane. But the surfaces do scare me.

I have seen video of them cleaning the planes, but really, I do not trust it 100%.

Even in the store, yesterday I was using a chopstick to touch the buttons on the card swiper things. I didn't want to use a cart, either. I got annoyed when my wooden chopstick did not work with the digital buttons, though.

This is why they'll end up banning nonessential domestic air travel.

I really hope they do suspend nonessential air travel.

Break it down into contactless payments. For me the supermarket is probably going to be the highest risk of contact.. I can't see much touring going on. Already there are people freaking out about maintaining their very expensive to insure transport. There is a discussion going on to allow companies to take their tourbuses off the road and have the insurance suspended for the duration.

If they allowed people/stores to charge more, there wouldn’t be a shortage. I don’t know about you, but I’d gladly pay more if I was completely out of toilet paper.
