A couple, filmed in a viral video wearing masks with Nazi swastikas emblazoned on them, will be banned from shopping at a Minnesota Walmart for at least one year, police said Monday.

The ugly incident unfolded Saturday at the store's location in Marshall, Minnesota, which is about 150 miles west of Minneapolis and approximately 100 miles northeast of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, authorities and company officials said.

In the tweeted video, which had received 3.2 million views by late Monday morning, shoppers could be seen confronting the swastika-wearing pair as they paid for their goods.

I can't help but feel like these actions are more of a "drat everyone" then an actual display of beliefs.
Not to say genuine nazi supporters aren't around in the USA. I just assume these types of people aren't living the greatest lives and wonder how they would carry themselves if they did.

I suspect, but cannot know, that the reference to Nazis was in being forced to wear the masks, rather than supporting the ideals of the National Socialist party of Germany.

In the Sixties and Seventies many US protesters made references to Germany when dealing with authoritarian public figures such as the Police and National Guard. Nazi and Fascist were synonymous with any policy that was perceived to inhibit the personal freedom of the individual to express their own views.
