The closest I came to blaming Dems was after you brought it up, and I pointed out that the Dems aren't entirely without blame for Trump's nomination.

That's as close as you can get for a giant douche.

Even suggesting 2016 was a giant douche/turd sandwich election (or for that matter, that 2020 is) is bullsh*t.
Both were/are choices between a person who can actually do the job of being president, and a con man with the temperament of a spoiled toddler, who breaks everything he touches if he thinks it'll get his idiot followers to like him more.

One thing we can be sure of is that we will have a racist and sexist President in the Whitehouse for the next 4 years...

Interesting to know the Republican party is powerless against the whims of Bill Clinton.

Actually, that'd be Roger Stone, if I'm not mistaken. He's been encouraging a Trump presidential run since the '90s. And Trump had been (sometimes publicly) toying with running for about a decade before that. Bill Clinton was still a relatively low-national profile governor of Arkansas when Trump first started talking about running for President. There's no evidence the two of them had even met at that point.

I’m fine with it, so long as people get to vote on who they want as president. I’m absolutely NOT fine with a president taking a third term without an election.

Which part did I say we could ignore?

The 22nd amendment.

You know it is possible to repeal an amendment with another amendment. Otherwise alcohol would still be prohibited.

I'm well aware. But that isn't what you said you wanted to happen.

What do you think he said he wanted to happen? I thought he was open to the idea of amending the Constitution.

Term limits for presidents began in 1951. Wow, how did that happen? Maybe they passed an amendment to the constitution. I guess it is possible.
