Honestly, I think the first Pap smear I ever got by a stupid PA who didn't know what they were doing I was literally screaming, I felt like I was being stabbed.

Or after my sister slammed my finger in the door as a child, and it was completely cut open and bleeding everywhere, and my parents made me hold it under cold water to wash it.

in terms of immediate pain? someone kicked me extra hard in my left leg during a game and i felt like my leg was shattered. i don't think it was intentional. i had to be stretchered off and substituted. thankfully it was only bruised and had some internal bleeding. i thought he really broke my leg when i felt the pain on my way to the hospital.

in terms of consistent pain, i've hurt my ankle during another game and the pain comes up every now and then, even when doing everyday things.

Broken pelvis + three ribs (all at the same time). I was too in shock to feel it all at the point of impact, but when you break all that sh*t and have to deal with it for several weeks, you really understand how much every movement you make (including coughing, laughing, etc.) transmits through your core.

I had a couple of ankle injuries that were really painful, my ankles are not that strong and come to think of it both the really bad ones were on the same ankle 25 years apart. The first one I was young and altthletic and jumped over a small hedge in the dark and landed in a camping field on some uneven ground and twisted my ankle badly. I had to struggle not to faint right there but I held it together with some deep breathing. Closer to 50 I jumped out of the back of my truck with to boxes of stock in my hands. The ground was a rough surface of stones and I landed on an round one the size of a tangerine and it just rolled to the size and I smashed into the ground on the outside of my foot. I had to work all summer with that and it was about 3 years before I could walk without being conscious of it. Even now it can cause me to wobble occasionally.

Pretty drated up about the dad too. I think I’ve blocked out the memory of most painful things. Nothing really comes to mind. More than pain for me is the fear that the pain is indicative of some lasting or irrecoverable injury.

So I’ll concur with sky fish: Lego to the toe. Ouch!

I had a sciatica flare-up last year. I couldn't sleep because no matter which position I laid in, my back would hurt. I couldn't stand in place longer than a few seconds because any pressure on my leg was agonizing. I could barely walk for weeks.

Honorable mention goes to when I had two teeth go bad in late 2017 and I hit some raw nerves. They were the two teeth I need for chewing on either side of my mouth. I got them removed so it's been a bit challenging re-learning how to chew without those.

I'd gladly relive compound fracturing my arm over either of those events.

On the 3rd day of school by knee cap popped out of place bent backwards when my knee cap was on the complete other side of by leg causing me to fall. Mid way through the fall my knee cap started to go back in place but went through the muscle cutting it in half. And I had to do my Cross-Country running practice. I couldn't even barely move it without wincing. But I sucked it up and sprinted for the HIIT traing. I bawled the entire time then the coach pulled me aside after practice.
