I just had eggs and toast.

No rioting from me.

I sent my older boy out yesterday to buy more eggs. I figured he was young and strong and had the best chance of getting through any rioters...

Laugh all you want now. Ammo sales are already up. People are scared and going crazy. Add hungry to that...

People are even breaking into cars to steal TP

Damsel- - -I'm having a hard time finding why you support the Republicans here. If you agree that corporate bailouts should be considered separately from bailing out the average Joe, then you agree with the Democrats.
2 months ago - Monday 3/23/20 - 4:25:21 PM EST (GMT-5)
I don't agree with any of them right now. None of them are doing their people right.

Yeah, damn those Democrats for not passing a bill that benefits corporations and does f*ck-all for workers. They should have passed the GOP bill and trusted that McConnell would actually bring up another one later that added the necessary restrictions. After all, it's not like he's ever lied or reneged on promises in the past. He's a straight-shooter who would never pull the rug out from under the other party.

I'd like to roll up that rug and cram it down his bastard throat, tbh.

Wow. You guys are just like a ray of sunshine.

This happened yesterday.

I’m supposed to be on a beach.

Work has posted several requests. 6 feet and all that. Limit people in rooms like the quality lab. Office people are appointment only. Supposedly they put tape on the floor to show an appropriate distance away from the desk.

I actually forgot to Lysol wipe last night. But there’s no third shift quality tech for the moment. How long can the disease survive on plastic keyboards?

I have to go to my grandmother’s today but I’m not going to go inside. I just have to bring in grain to the barn and garbage off the porch. Waiting on a text or a phone call from my aunt. She went to a doctor’s appointment this morning. My mom’s worried they’re not taking it seriously enough. Both definitely high risk.

Stimulus deal is supposed to be decided today?

I think 3 days is the published length of time for the virus on plastic...

We restrict our test lab to one person physically present at a time. We also have the ability to remote in to the lab, so one only needs to go in to set up the tests- - it's not too hard to keep isolated.

We’re allowing two in a lab at one time.

Has anyone seen the CNN commercial that states that this is an apple and not a banana?

I object on the grounds of Magritte.

They are closer to reaching a deal. With the new deal that Pelosi rolled out, I think the amount is $1500 instead of $1200 and last I heard they are very close to agreeing. I am glad and surprised they came up with a new plan so quick. But I am still disappointed that it is not done yet...Americans needed the money yesterday. I worry that people are going to starve.

Felt a shortness of breath. Possible tightness in my chest. Gonna wait it out. See what I feel like in the morning. I think I had an idle night at work and my worry is able to cause psychosomatic responses. Some guy was talking about swabbing the back of my throat through my nose. I don’t think it was a euphemism.

I’m thinking this also might be the sensation of working through my allergies. My trusty thermometer put my mind at ease a bit.

Sleep hopefully comes soon. I’m going to try and ride out the rest of the week without a trip to the store.

Plenty of frozen veggies. Frozen meat. More eggs. I’m going to need milk and eggs. And I only have one thing of stir fry sauce. So that will have to be remedied. Possibly with some barbecue and hot sauce.

Probably a beer will help.

I have 24 that I carried in a pile in my arms to the counter today at the convenience store.

I think my beer cured me.

Beer tastes yuck.

That's a dangerous outlook in these troubled times.

I think I was just being a worrier. I felt fine today. I’m in a very rural area of NY. Don’t plan on going to any more populated area anytime soon.

Can I just say that parboiled rice is pretty damn good? Because parboiled rice is pretty damn good.

But yeah. I lost a lot of sleep worrying last night. I mean I made it up by sleeping till 130, but may have broken my inside clock.

Successful 24 hours of only essential human interaction. No stores. No parents or grandparents visits. Just essential work and being at my apt.

Look at me kind of not sucking at social distancing while at the same time still kind of sucking at social distancing.

I still suck at social distancing.
