I want to make a fancy brisket


And they is a v nice looking butcher near my work.


Who are doing pick up only right now

And I am a scrub who has never had the coin to warrant buying myself a nice cut of meat before.


I have no idea how much volume is or what kind of cut to get or what to ask for


What if I just call them up and all that comes out is ‘please beef me daddy’


I am willing to trade one dr.appointment booking call to anyone who will order me a meat for tomorrow afternoon

i think though if you just tell them what you need you'll likely get a polite nice person who will fulfill whatever need you have

Brisket is a cut of beef.

Mid range, best slow cooked until tender but not needing to be boiled until digestible.

You can just ask for a piece of brisket for X number of people.

If you get brisket, you probably want to get the flat cut, not the point cut.

Brisket is one of the cheaper cuts, cook low and slow. 4 hours at 125 Celsius should do it. Maybe 150.

The important thing is the marinade, at least 12 hours before cooking. What type is up to you.
