It could still be nitpicked, unfortunately. I'm sure I've lost and gained thousands of pounds during my adult life, just a few at a time. We all have at least minor fluctuations.


Anyway, in the way you mean the question, no. I've never been heavy enough where I could lose 100 lbs and still survive.

as an adult i think the heaviest i've been was 205, the lightest, 170. i'm at 180 right now, and that's after the holidays and all the food.

I gained 75 pounds and that's all I managed to achieve with my life since I graduated high school.

I was 300 pounds at 20. At 25, I did a drastic liquid protein diet that got me at 180 after six months, but f-cked me up real bad.

Of course my metabolism was so low I gained back, and for ten years I struggled between gaining and dieting, but gaining was winning.

At 35, all Hell broke loose. And I went to almost 400 pounds.
I started losing very slowly after a stay at a eating disorder clinic (binge eating). That stopped for a while because of an accident that got me bedridden for almost 6 months.

I'm back where I started. I'm giving up on being at a healthy weight, but I still want to leave the obesity range. This said, the BMI charts are no good for me, while not being an athlete, I'm naturally heavy.

i've been told that being slightly overweight is actually good. so for my height i should be around 215-220 pounds or a bit more. i used to be super health conscious aside from the occasional cigarette but quit that too.

i'm glad you're finding a happy medium for yourself abzurd, it seems like you've had quite the rollercoaster ride. i hope you reach your goal.
